I’m Aly B. Covington, founder and leader of ABC’s Village, and our goal is to encourage and inspire you to take control of your body, mind, and spirit so that you can create an outrageously joyful, and fulfilling life. WHY? Because we believe that healthier people are happier people, who make better decisions...which makes the world a better place to live.
ABC'S Village stands for me (Aly B. Covington) and my family...Aly, Benji (my son), Casey (our yellow lab who we lost in 2017 at age 15 ½), and Sydney (my daughter). We believe that it takes a village to make the world a better place, and it starts with all of us being the best versions of ourself, and then sharing our gifts ands experiences with the world. My gift and passion is helping people embrace their life experiences -- no matter how challenging -- to create an empowering, extraordinary life.
I was raised by a mother who had mental illness, lost my father to cancer when I was 13 and had a developmentally disabled older brother who needed constant care. Today, I’m a thriving single mom who has used my past experiences to build resilience and mental toughness to propel me forward while inspiring others.
For over 20 years, I’ve excelled as an athletic trainer and fitness coach. When I realized that my clients needed more guidance and support beyond physical training, I developed a comprehensive program for total health and wellbeing, which incorporates the Six Dimensions of Wellness, what I call the Six P.I.E.C.E.S (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Connectional, Environmental, Spiritual) All these vital pieces work together to support and anchor your life.
We can not change the circumstances of our life; however, we can decide how we think about it, and what we do about it. Join me on this life-changing journey of growth and transformation, and lets make a difference in the world!
